The floral ornament patterned Kismet-series by Raija Uosikkinen brings an oriental touch to the table setting. The Kismet-series, manufactured at Arabian taideteollisuusosastolla, was in production from 1961 to 1964. In addition to the spouted jug, the same series includes a bowl, a candlestick and a lidded jar. The series was also produced in pink. The jug’s height is 16.5 cm and diameter 6 cm. The pitcher for sale is intact and otherwise in good condition. There is a small blue paint splash on the spout; see picture.
